Art Activity -
Despite graduating with a degree in studio art in a variety of mediums at University of California, Santa Cruz (B.A. - 2007) and making art consistently throughout my adult life, I only started formally showing work recently.
I joined the local volunteer co-operative gallery in my hometown, the Marble Rim Gallery http://www.marblerimgallery.org/ and have shown as the Featured Artist for the First Friday receptions in April 2025 as well as June 2023. My work was also up year round in the gallery while I was an active member, 2023-2025.

The Yreka Branch of the Siskiyou County Library system approached me personally and requested an exhibition, which I accepted. This solo exhibition was available for viewing between January 2025 - March 2025. The Yreka branch is the main branch of the Siskiyou County Library system and was able to comfortably accommodate around 40 pieces including 8 large woodburning compositions.

Yreka Liberty Arts, at an annual members meeting, democratically selected my proposal for a show of my own art. As they no longer do solo exhibitions, I was paired with another artist called Marlis Germutus, an abstract expressionist. Our collaborative show was titled Not Everything is Black or White Nor Shape or Color Quite Alike, which ran September 20th, 2024 through October 25th, 2024.
